TREATY OF PICQUIGNY

The Treaty of Picquigny was negotiated on August 29, 1475 between England and France. Louis XI paid Edward IV to stay in England and not pursue his claim to the French throne. Edward was provided with an immediate payment of 75,000 crowns and a yearly pension thereafter of 50,000 crowns.
