TRANSVERSE TEMPORAL GYRUS
The transverse temporal gyri (also called Heschl's gyri) are found in the area of primary auditory cortex in the superior temporal gyrus of the human brain. It processes auditory information.
Heschl's gyri is named after Richard L. Heschl.
