BULLWORKER
Bullworker is an isometric exercise machine used for strength training marketed and sold in the United States in the early 1970's. It continues to sell in Europe and Asia.
History
The original product and patent was designed by a german Gert F. Kobel. The popularity of the product was incredible due to the ease of use and the growing popularity of Isometrics in the U.S.A. It sold mostly thru ads in comic books and magazines, since Informercials had not yet been born. The original device allowed you to perform 26 exercises, with the later X-5 model showing 40 exercises. In fact many people used the Bullworker, most notably Bruce Lee.
Design
Instead of conventional weights or pulley machines, and unlike the original Bowflex machine that used a combination of graphite rods to create resistance or tension. The Bullworker utilizes the best of exercise bands or cables, but there are no cables, plates or bands to load, unload or change..while at the same time you can compress it, using both your eccentric and concentric (push and pull) muscles The machines weights roughly 4.5 lbs and fits in the corner of your room or office unlike a bowflexor complete set of weights and machines.
